Another popular Enka singer is Godai Natsuko, or "Nat-chan" as she's affectionately called by her fans. Her style of singing is more traditional and her songs have a really nice feel to them. Nat-chan grew up in the Shibuya district of Tokyo. She's married to Sugi Ryotaro who's a very well-known actor/singer in Japan. The two have been involved in charity work. She helped the victims of the Great Hanshin Earthquake (also known as the Kobe Earthquake) back in the 1990's. She said it was one of the most important things she's done in her life. Nat-chan has a cheerful personality. She seems like a very nice person, the kind of individual you would value as a friend.
